A whisper travels on the breeze, a tale spun from caramel lies and tangled truths. It speaks of a flow, its waters glinting with the temptation of intoxication. But within its depths lurks a darkness, a deceptive lure that promises power at the cost of souls. A River of Syrup
On January 15th, 1919, Boston experienced a disaster unlike any other. A massive tank filled with syrup burst open in the city's North End, unleashing a wave of sticky sweetness that swept through the streets like a tsunami.
